Whether faced with a multi-million dollar lawsuit or a small insurance claim, Amanda’s clients value her calculated and results driven approach, knowing they can always expect a legal strategy that accounts for their best interests, both legal and financial.

Amanda is an experienced trial attorney and joined Cobb & Gonzalez at its inception. Amanda represents an assortment of clients at the trial and appellate level for claims associated with the planning and development of various projects including single-family residences, condominium developments, commercial buildings, and roadway projects. Her typical clients include homeowners, architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers involved in contract and warranty disputes, construction and design defect litigation, and product liability actions. She has also regularly advised clients involved in insurance disputes with issues arising out of property damage claims.

Amanda graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a specialization in Global Studies. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2014. While in law school, she served as the editor-in-chief of the Florida Coastal Law Review and as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable C. Alan Lawson in the Fifth District Court of Appeals. Additionally, she worked as a Teaching Assistant for Professional Responsibility, was recognized as a Dean’s Scholar, earned Book Awards in Contracts II and Civil Procedure, and was awarded a scholarship from the Florida Bar Young Lawyer’s Division.

Originally from Northern Illinois, Amanda moved to Jacksonville in 2011 to attend law school and currently resides in Jacksonville Beach with her fiancé Drew and their two dogs, Madison and Dexter. In her free time, she enjoys relaxing at the beach and visiting one of the many local craft breweries. Amanda has traveled extensively and very much enjoys traveling internationally to visit and learn about new countries and cultures.
