Brittany is an experienced litigation attorney at Cobb & Gonzalez, P.A., focusing her practice in construction law and business litigation. Known for her strategic and solution-oriented approach, Brittany carefully analyzes every aspect of her clients’ legal issues and develops practical, cost-effective strategies to achieve favorable outcomes.

Before joining the firm, Brittany successfully resolved a wide range of disputes across numerous practice areas, including probate, landlord-tenant, commercial litigation, foreclosure, consumer law, and general litigation. She also brings valuable experience in immigration law, having handled humanitarian, family-based, employment-based, and removal defense matters in state, federal, and administrative court proceedings.

Brittany earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2019. During law school, she served on the boards of the Immigration Law Society and Christian Legal Society. She interned at the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida with the Honorable Judge Joel B. Toomey, where she assisted in drafting orders and reports in civil cases. Brittany also served as a teaching assistant for appellate writing and participated in the Intimate Partner Violence Clinic and an externship with Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, where she provided pro bono legal support to survivors of domestic violence and refugees. She is trained in trauma-informed client representation.

Brittany graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Florida with dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Spanish. She is proficient in Spanish and studied abroad in Santander, Spain.

In her free time, Brittany enjoys exploring local coffee shops and restaurants, hiking, watching television, playing trivia, and spending time with friends and family—especially her three nephews, who lovingly call her “Mimi.” She also enjoys relaxing at home with her dog, Hermione.

  • Represented multi-family construction subcontractor in contractual performance and delay issues on various multi-million dollar construction projects.
  • Represented contractor in construction defect claim, successfully staying case under Chapter 558, Florida Statutes, to inspect and make necessary repairs.
  • Represented contractor in breach of contract suit by homeowner who wrongfully terminated contract, successfully invoking arbitration clause of contract to settle dispute.
