Brittany is an experienced litigation attorney who focuses her practice in construction law and business litigation matters. Brittany analyzes all avenues and angles of her client’s issues and develops a practical and cost-effective approach to her problem-solving skills.  Prior to joining the firm, Brittany successfully resolved varying types of disputes in a wide array of practice areas ranging from probate, landlord/tenant, commercial, foreclosure, consumer, construction, and general litigation matters.  Brittany also has prior experience in immigration law, including humanitarian, family-based, employer-based, and removal defense. She has been actively involved in state, federal, and administrative court proceedings. Brittany strives to provide her clients with a positive experience through excellent communication, candor, and thorough analysis of all legal issues.

Brittany earned two Bachelors of Art degrees in Political Science and Spanish from the University of North Florida, where she graduated magna cum laude. She is proficient in Spanish and studied abroad in Santander, Spain.

Brittany completed her juris doctor degree at the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law in 2019, where she served on the board of the Immigration Law Society and Christian Legal Society. During her first summer in law school, Brittany had the honor of interning at the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida with the Honorable Judge Joel B. Toomey, where she assisted in drafting orders and reports and recommendations in civil cases. Brittany also served as a teaching assistant for appellate writing during her second year of law school. In her third year, Brittany interned in UF Law’s Intimate Partner Violence Clinic and externed at Jacksonville Area Legal Aid where she provided legal assistance at no cost to many survivors of domestic violence and refugees. Brittany is trained in trauma-informed representation of clients.

In her free time, Brittany enjoys watching television, snuggling with her dog, Hermione, hanging out with friends, playing trivia, hiking trails, and trying new local restaurants and coffee shops. She is also close with her family, especially her three nephews who call her “Mimi.”

  • Represented multi-family construction subcontractor in contractual performance and delay issues on various multi-million dollar construction projects.
  • Represented contractor in construction defect claim, successfully staying case under Chapter 558, Florida Statutes, to inspect and make necessary repairs.
  • Represented contractor in breach of contract suit by homeowner who wrongfully terminated contract, successfully invoking arbitration clause of contract to settle dispute.
  • Obtained final lien judgments, including reimbursement for attorney’s fees and costs, for roofing company.
  • Represented subcontractor in lawsuit against commercial property owner and general contractor for non-payment to subcontractor, resolving in payment to subcontractor.
