Seth Dempsey is a partner at Cobb & Gonzalez, P.A., where his practice focuses on construction law, real estate litigation, business litigation and general liability matters. Mr. Dempsey is a highly experienced and effective litigator, who has represented contractors, subcontractors, shareholders, property owners, professionals, and businesses in a wide range of cases involving complex contract disputes, construction defects and payment claims, lien and bond actions, collections, real estate disputes, fraudulent non-disclosure claims, and business disputes. Mr. Dempsey also has extensive experience litigating personal injury and general liability claims involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, defective products, wrongful death, and insurance coverage disputes.
Seth grew up in east central Florida. He attended the University of South Florida in Tampa, where he earned his undergraduate degree in business administration. Mr. Dempsey then obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. During law school, Mr. Dempsey distinguished himself as a member of the Moot Court Board and winner of the C. Clyde Adkins Advanced Moot Court Competition.
Mr. Dempsey lives in St. Augustine with his wife and son. When he is not working, Seth enjoys a number of outdoor pursuits, including surfing, fishing, running, and mountain biking.
